ETS president Prof. Stefano Macolino welcomed 85 participants from 13 different European countries and 4 from outside EU (South Korea, Turkey, UK, USA) joining the 8th ETS conference in Frankfurt City, Germany.
At EURO 2024 in Germany, the quality of the pitches was the focus of attention on various occasions during the preliminary round. For example during the matches in the Frankfurt Arena, television viewers were able to observe that some players' stability was not good, as they slipped.

As President of the European Turfgrass Society (ETS), I would like to inform you that our society founded in 2007 in Pisa (Italy), is now in serious financial difficulties due to pandemic restrictions that occurred in the last two years.
For the first time, the most important turfgrass associations are coming together in a single congress with the aim of unifying the market, offering seminars, spaces for professionals.
